LIMITED TO 50 UNITS 'OMEN/GAIA' marks a pivotal change in the Monarchs story. Drifting between members, guitarist/harsh vocalist Garret Elliot and drummer Brody Lee wrote the dual-single together as an experiment for what may come next. Each track was crafted to represent a key aspect of the duo's identities, with OMEN representing Garret's unique, heavy-hitting flair, and GAIA representing Brody's influences rooted in technical, progressive metal music. Together, Monarchs crafted a standout release that kept the band alive during this time of transition. Today, the band has taken appendages from the release -mainly its characteristic thall-core spin and more technical structure - and moved forward with it in writing their newest album, alongside the scene legend bassist Samuel Apkan and the smooth Australian clean vocalist/keyboardist Zac Mawson.
