The Manor Born is an indie, post-punk outfit hailing from Tucson, Arizona. Deeply influenced by the early 2000s post-punk revival (i.e., Interpol, Bloc Party, Arctic Monkeys), The Manor Born delivers rhythm-heavy rock angst with a profound yearning for progress and hope. At the beginning of 2025, founding band member and primary songwriter, Clay Dudash, decided to shed the dead-end corporate trajectory he was on to reignite his pursuit of creating music full-time. Flanked by good friends, The Manor Born now feels like a band of brothers, urging the listener to reject the status quo, and perhaps to dance while doing so. The Manor Born has played across Southern Arizona, from small venues to the historic Rialto Theatre and Tucson’s Dusk Festival. As they grow their sound and their fanbase, they are poised to make moves and spread their musical reach.
