Physical Music | THE WITCHING HOUR - Tunegoody

The Witching Hour, based in Denver, CO by freelance drummer Kenny James, grew from one demo song ("Shocking") to an entire project exploring darkness, light, and time. From 1994 to 2004, TWH produced two studio albums and a live release, performing nationally from small clubs to the Whisky A Go-Go to Red Rocks Amphitheater. In 1994, Kenny's demo song sparked the idea to create THE WITCHING HOUR project. That song and a handful of others made up the debut release "Angels In Shadowed Blue" from 2003. TWH released a DVD ("Prelude To The Silence"), a live CD from their Red Rocks performance called "Crimson Glory Symphonies", a collection of demos ("The Valentine's Day Massacre"), and one more studio album, "After The Haunting Silence" in 2004. The band was discontinued in 2005. "THE SLEEP" is a re-mixing of material from over 20 years ago to hopefully make them somewhat relevant audio-wise and to inspire future creations.
