Tony Mecca IV (born Anthony Meccariello IV) is an indie rock/pop artist from South Philadelphia, PA, now based in Cherry Hill, NJ. Described as mature, fun, and experimental, Tony’s music is deeply shaped by personal experiences of heartbreak, friendship loss, trauma and being a queer teen. Inspired early on by Lady Gaga and the performing family and friends around him, Tony began creating music as a child, funnily looping a single lyric at age four and writing & recording his first song by nine. His sound blends theatrical pop influences with emotional storytelling, drawing inspiration from artists like Jensen McRae and Ethel Cain.
